The Steve Hussey Band has been wowing live audiences all over West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland with their unique show since 2003. They play an original blend of Country and Rock that has tremendous crossover appeal and has won them fans in all age brackets. High energy, audience participation and showmanship are the hallmarks of SHB’s live set.
They have been featured performers all over West Virginia, playing the State Fair of West Virginia, the Marietta Sternwheel Regatta, and the Mason Harvest Festival to name a few. In 2009 SHB headlined on Saturday evening at the Parkersburg Homecoming to a crowd of 5,000 hometown fans.
In 2010 they were featured on Stage Wisp, a concert series hosted by Wisp resort in Maryland and have been busy taking their live show all over West Virginia and Southeast Ohio.
Their original music has garnered rave reviews. Their debut Album Unspoken , released in 2005 was named the best local release of the year by the Parkersburg News and Sentinel, prompting them to comment “Very seldom does an album come along and give every song a listenable quality. The music from the Steve Hussey Band has great sound and astounding lyricism.”:
Currently the Steve Hussey Band in in the studio with Emmy-Award winning producer and composer David Traugh (Moviesound Studios) working on two CDs. An EP entitled Control will be released in 2010. An as-yet-untitled LP will be released in 2011. Steve also has a solo project in the works with David.

Rock n’ roll favorites, a little bit of country and a smattering of original tunes from their new CD – “Parkersburg Skyline” (released at the concert) made the night a complete success for the band and all of those that were lucky enough to attend this blow out performance.
